Day 5: Transformed by Renewal – Changing the Way You Think to Change the Way You Live
Hey there,
By now, you’ve probably started to realize that this journey isn’t just about managing sin. It’s about becoming someone new. And that starts with your mind. Today’s focus is on renewal. Not just trying harder, but actually learning to think differently. In the video, we’ll talk about how your thoughts shape your choices, and how false beliefs—especially the ones you’ve carried for a long time—can quietly keep you stuck. You’ll learn how Scripture and neuroscience both confirm this truth: change doesn’t begin with behavior. It begins with belief.
Your step for today:
Take time to name one false belief you’ve been holding onto. Maybe it’s about your worth, your future, or what God thinks of you. Then, find a verse that speaks the truth. Write both the lie and the truth down somewhere you’ll see them.
As you walk, reflect on this:
- Where did this belief come from?
- What would it look like to live as if the truth were really true?
Today’s verse:
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” – Romans 12:2
You weren’t created to live in fear, failure, or shame. You were made to be transformed. Not overnight, but over time, as your mind is renewed by God’s Word and His Spirit. Tomorrow, we’ll talk about what compromise really costs—and why it’s worth protecting your future by making different choices today.
